How to use the PNG to JPG tool
- Set the JPG quality (90% is a good default).

- Download the JPGs individually or as one ZIP.
Why convert PNG to JPG?
PNG is excellent for logos and sharp graphics, but photos saved as PNG can be five to ten times larger than they need to be. Converting them to JPG makes them far easier to email, upload and share, and many forms only accept JPG.
Transparent areas
JPG does not support transparency. Any transparent parts of your PNG are filled with clean white, so logos and cut-outs sit nicely on a white page instead of turning black.
Choose your quality
The slider controls the balance between size and detail. Around 85 to 92 percent is almost indistinguishable from the original for most images, while 70 percent gives much smaller files for the web. Text-heavy screenshots look best at higher settings.
Private batch processing
Convert as many files as you like. Every conversion runs on your own device, so nothing is uploaded and there are no queues or file-count limits.
Batch PNG to JPG conversion
Select every PNG you want to convert at once. Each file is converted in turn, keeps its original name with a .jpg ending, and appears in the list with its new size. When you have more than one file, a single button saves them all in a ZIP archive.
Screenshots and text
Screenshots full of text and sharp lines can show faint blur around letters when saved as JPG at low quality. Keep quality at 90 percent or higher for those. For photos saved as PNG, 80 percent is usually indistinguishable and saves far more space.
Why PNG photos are so large
Phones and screenshot tools sometimes save photos as PNG, which stores each pixel exactly. A photo of a sunset can be several megabytes as PNG and a few hundred KB as JPG.
Converting on any device
On a phone, open this page in Chrome or Safari, tap the box and select your PNG screenshots. The JPGs download straight to your files or gallery.
Change PNG to JPEG for forms
Many job, visa and school forms accept only JPG or JPEG. Converting your PNG here, at 90 percent quality, keeps the image sharp while making sure the upload is accepted.
